Masterclass in Neuro Technology 2018

Ectron proud to be a part of the first ever Masterclass in Neuro Technology with Hobbs Rehabilitation #MINT18

Hobbs Rehabilitations highly anticipated Masterclass in Neuro Technology took place on the 10th and 11th October in association with ACPIN.

The event was attended by over 150 clinicians and professionals with a specialist interest in Neurological Rehabilitation Technology. MINT 18 featured the latest technology in neuro rehabilitation and the two days consisted of formal presentations from leading clinicians and researchers and three masterclass workshops, led by clinicians experienced in the use of the technology

Speakers included: Ruth Turk, Senior Teaching / Research Fellow, University of Southampton and ACPIN board member for research, Clemens Muller PHD, Head of Education ISAART & Head of Clinical Applications and Research Hocoma AG, Dr Rui Loureiro, Head of UCL Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Sciences , Dr Alastair Cozens, Lead Consultant of Neurorehabilitation and Director SiLCK and Joe Green, Technology Lead, Hobbs Rehabilitation

Ectron were proud to work with Hobbs Rehabilitation and support this unique event from it's initial concept. Ectron's partners Tyromotion and Hocoma both hosted masterclasses.

Hocoma hosted a masterclass on the Andago which provides therapists with a versatile tool for overground gait training, bridging the gap between treadmill-based and free walking.

Tecnobody solutions in NeurotherapyWorx

We are so pleased to see our Tecnobody Solution at the neuro-rehab outpatient centre in Neurotherapy Worx. The centre, based near Wigan, started using the D-Wall at the beginning of the year and went on to include the Prokin 252, WalkerView, and Data Server devices. Clinic owner, Sarah Wilkinson's experience with the advanced motion tracking, analysis, and therapy programs of the D-Wall has led her to adopt additional solutions, such as the Prokin 252 for balance and proprioception, and the Walker View for gait assessment and training. This strategy is designed to motivate patients and supply valuable data to the physiotherapy team, potentially reducing recovery time.
