This week Ectron have been installing a Tyrostation incorporating PABLO and TYMO at the Morrello Clinic in Newport, Wales.

About TYROSTATION

The Tyrostation is a space-saving system solution for Pablo and Tymo. Thanks to the integrated storage space, all devices plus accessories are within reach and immediately ready for use. The therapy surface is height-adjustable and can optimally accommodate all patients. The Tyrostation is a popular choice for clinics and hospitals throughout the UK.

The tyrostation is a workstation optimised for everyday use in therapy. Special storage space in the workstation’s surface create order for the Pablo system (consisting of the Pablo Sensor, the Pablo Multi-board and the Pablo Multi-ball). Storage slots on the sides keep TYMO and the appertaining 2-D and 3-D rolling elements always within reach. There’s also space for all pads and the seating cushion. And the stool is the perfect surface for sitting exercises with TYMO.

The All-In-One PC is equipped with the tyroS software. Thus, all devices can be easily and effortlessly used with the tyrostation. This makes a seamless record and assessment of the rehabilitation process possible.

About PABLO

The PABLO system is a modern assessment and therapy device for the rehabilitation of patients with impaired motor functions. It supports upper and lower limbs, as well as body and head applications. PABLO can be used on neurological, orthopeadic, peadiatric and geriatric patients with deficits in movement and force control, accuracy, aiming, coordination, trunk control and balance.

About TYMO

The TYMO is a sensor-based rehabilitation device for static and dynamic assessment- and therapy applications. The appealingly slim, wireless design offers a plethora of therapy options: be it the improvement of balance and postural control, or active use of force and support activities of the upper extremities, with TYMO the therapist’s creativity knows no limits. Even the preset starting positions (support, sitting, standing) can be freely expanded.

Both devices allows therapists to offer accurate patient assessments and fun, motivational therapy.

We are so pleased to see our Tecnobody Solution at the neuro-rehab outpatient centre in Neurotherapy Worx. The centre, based near Wigan, started using the D-Wall at the beginning of the year and went on to include the Prokin 252, WalkerView, and Data Server devices. Clinic owner, Sarah Wilkinson's experience with the advanced motion tracking, analysis, and therapy programs of the D-Wall has led her to adopt additional solutions, such as the Prokin 252 for balance and proprioception, and the Walker View for gait assessment and training. This strategy is designed to motivate patients and supply valuable data to the physiotherapy team, potentially reducing recovery time.
